THE WHY
The First Church is committed to bringing greater worship to our God and well-being to our world, as the Law, the Prophets, and the Gospels teach. For Christianity, the key to bringing the greatest worship and well-being is for people to grow as life-long, fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
THE HOW
For this reason, The First Church offers three schools to grow you personally and professionally: a School of Discipleship, a School of Leadership, and a School of Internship.
THE WHAT
1. Our School of Discipleship is for ages 18 and up, and operates on a semester system. It offers both informal small groups and lecture-style classes via in-person and on-demand experiences.
2. Our School of Leadership is for ages 18 and up, operates on a semester system, and is for those interested in developing ethically-professional leadership skills that translate into home, career, social, civic, and church settings.
3. Our School of Internship is for college students who are earnestly seeking to discern how the Holy Spirit might be calling them into ministry as a professional vocation.
